Testimonials from Parents and Students
This past year as well as the year before has been so wonderful. They have also been very meaningful to me for which I will cherish forever.
Looking back, there are times when we worked hard note by note; there were also times when joyful tears took over the excitement of victory at competitions.
I've learned a lot over the years, and I believe that I will be even more overwhelmed with the essence of music as we explore the more sophisticated pieces in upcoming years.
Feeling gracious, I just want to say "Thank you".
Thank you for teaching me because if I were not with you I would be only in 3rd grade. Thank you also for supporting me and giving me confidence.
Thank you for being such a good teacher!
I've noticed a huge difference in my sound. It's a lot better, and I feel more secure with what I'm playing. I feel like I'm finally ready to do good work and you really inspire me... I really appreciate all your knowledge and I'm so happy to be working with you.
I still have A LOT of work to do on the preludes, but I can remember most of the notes and the sound. I'm trying to create the pieces more than just play the notes, and bring about feeling now. The pieces do affect me at a high level, and I think it's terrific that you brought them to my attention!
I'm very happy to have Maya as my piano teacher!
Dear Maya,
I can never be thankful enough for all of the times you have stuck by me and helped me through in piano. The changes in my playing have been overwhelmingly dramatic since I started and I am amazed how for I have come and how much I have accomplished.
Had it not been for your guidance my joy in piano would be significantly diminished.
Thank you.
Thank you so much!! To be honest with you, now, my brain only contains piano and music!! I can't imagine this!
I remember at the very beginning you said there must be Trust between you and me. Otherwise, it won't work out. I can tell you now the place I look forward to go most now, is your place! Not only that I found my interest there, it's also the warm feeling!
Dear Maya: You are so patient with my children especially with my young son who needs help with his focus and concentration. In a very short time, my two children have learned and progressed very quickly. Through your encouragement and hard work, they are building their self-confidence. This is a precious gift that they will be able to draw upon for the rest of their lives. Thank you so very much.
For me, Maya has not only been a teacher, but also a dear friend, a trustworthy guide, and a source of inspiration and love! She has taught me to understand, appreciate and bring out the true beauty in music. Maya is an exceptional teacher in such a way that she doesn’t accentuate her instructions on how to play more technically and extravagantly, but rather she teaches how to produce sound to make the music speak! She invests much effort and is always patient to bring out the best results in her students. Since I have started to study with Maya, I have greatly improved my playing and developed confidence in my performance. Also, I decided to make music my future profession and Maya has helped me incomparably to achieve my ambitions!
Polina.
